The $1k AI Assessment: what's actually inside it (Atlanta business edition)

A walkthrough of the AnswerAxis AI Readiness Assessment: the 30-minute intake call with Annie, the structured report, the 4-day quick-win plan, and the money-back guarantee.

Atlanta business owners ask a version of this all the time: “A grand for an AI assessment? What exactly do I get?” Fair question. There’s a lot of snake oil in this category right now — generic strategy decks, ChatGPT-flavored slop reports, two-hour calls that end with a bill and no plan. Skepticism is warranted.

Here’s the actual contents of the AnswerAxis AI Readiness Assessment, end-to-end, as it’s structured in 2026. What you do, what we do, what’s in the report, and the money-back guarantee that backs it up.

Step one: the intake call with Annie

The first thing that happens after you book is you get scheduled with Annie. Annie is our AI interviewer — a voice agent configured to ask the same questions a senior consultant would, available on your schedule (day, night, weekends) without the calendar Tetris of pinning down a human.

The call runs 20–30 minutes. Annie walks you through:

How you actually run the business day-to-day — who answers the phone, what happens after 5pm, what the daily intake flow looks like. What’s eating your time and your team’s time. Where leads come from, how fast they get responded to, what the close rate is. What software you’re running (CRM, scheduling, billing, marketing). Where you’ve already tried to automate and what broke. What you tried and abandoned. What growth has looked like and what bottleneck you can see coming next.

It’s the same intake a senior consultant would run live, structured so nothing important gets skipped. Annie is patient and doesn’t move on until she actually understands the answer.

Step two: Jeremiah personally reviews the transcript

This is the part most cheap competitors skip. Jeremiah reads every transcript himself. Not a junior. Not an LLM left to its own devices. Jeremiah Daws — the same person who ran video production at Disney and edited at NatGeo before deploying voice AI out of Suwanee.

The transcript gets read with three lenses. First: where’s the biggest leak? Where is money walking out the door right now in a way the owner might not be tracking? Second: what’s the highest-leverage single move? Of all the things that could be fixed, which one creates the most value per dollar of build? Third: what’s the realistic 4-day win? Something deployable fast that pays for itself before anything bigger gets touched.

Step three: the written plan, delivered in 48 hours

Within two business days of the intake, you get a written report — typically 8–14 pages, structured the same way every time:

Executive summary. The 30-second version. What the report identifies as your real bottleneck. What we’d do first. How much it costs and how fast it pays back.

Effort × impact matrix.Every opportunity identified, plotted on two axes. The upper-left quadrant — high impact, low effort — is where the 4-day quick win lives.

Recommended solutions.5–8 specific recommendations, each with: the problem it solves, the rough build cost, the expected ROI math, the time-to-deploy, and whether it’s a build we’d do, a tool we’d recommend you self-serve, or something to revisit later.

The 4-day quick-win plan. One specific thing, fully scoped, that we could deploy in four days if you say yes. With a calendar, a cost, and a measurable outcome.

ROI math. A worksheet showing the modeled revenue or cost-savings impact of the top three recommendations, using your actual numbers from the intake call. Not industry averages. Yours.

What comes after. If we deploy the quick win and it works, what’s the next move? And the one after that? A 6-month roadmap so you don’t feel like you’re starting from scratch every month.

The money-back guarantee

The part worth being loud about: if you read the report and don’t walk away with at least 3 actionable picksyou’re excited to consider, the $1,000 is refunded. No hoops, no haggling. It’s a real guarantee.

The other thing: the $1,000 fee is credited toward any build we do for you.If you read the report and say “deploy the Phone Agent,” that’s a $500 setup + $500/month engagement, and the $1,000 assessment fee comes off the first invoice. So in practice, the assessment is free if you build something. If you don’t, you keep the report and the relationship, and you can come back later.

Who this is built for

The assessment is structured for metro Atlanta operators with real volume on phones or web inbound — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, dental, GC, and similar service-business profiles in the $400k–$5M annual revenue range. Below $200k or pre-revenue, the free 15-minute discovery call is a better fit. We’ll say so on the call. The assessment isn’t for every business and we’d rather not take your money if we don’t think we’ll find $1,000 of value, much less the 10x we’re aiming for.

What it’s not

Two things this is not, just to set expectations clean:

It’s not a sales call. Annie does the intake; she doesn’t pitch you anything. The report recommends specific solutions, and yes, sometimes those are AnswerAxis builds — but it also recommends third-party tools, things you should self-serve, and explicitly tells you when we’re not the right vendor.

It’s also not a generic AI strategy doc. There’s no “AI is transforming everything” section, because you don’t need that and we’d be insulting your time. It’s tactical, specific, and grounded in your actual operation.

How to start

Two paths. If you already know enough and just want to book: head to /audit and pick a slot with Annie.

If you’d rather hear what the Phone Agent sounds like first — because that’s often the recommendation anyway — call (404) 480-9199 and pretend you’re a homeowner with a broken AC. Same agent quality we’d deploy for your business. Same intake structure. 90 seconds.

Or email Jeremiah directly at jeremiah@answeraxis.com. Every message gets read and answered same-day.
